Laura Murphy from the Missouri United Methodist Foundation on Wednesday\, May 15\, from 6-7:30 p.m. to learn how to prepare your affairs for when death occurs in your family. Laura will present this information with the heart of a pastor and with training from the Foundation that helps people discern their legacy. Childcare will be available. Registration is strongly recommended but not required. \nEach participant will receive a complimentary binder that assists in mapping out plans and clearly records them to reflect one’s wishes and circumstances. The workshop is ideal for people of all ages and stages of life\, and all are welcome to attend either as individuals or as couples. \nIt is not necessary to have a will or other previous plans discerned. We’ll start the day by having a noon lunch at the famous McFarlain’s Family Restaurant and then attend the 3:30 pm show. \nA limited amount of spots are available on a group van. The van will leave the church at 10 am. \nSign-up with payment to reserve your ticket by Tuesday\, April 25\, at noon. Participants are invited to stay for an Easter Sunrise Service around a warm fire at 6:30 AM. No registration or fees. Join us before service for a pancake breakfast from 8:30-10 am and Palm Sunday worship at 10:30 am! Freewill donations for breakfast may be offered to Waypoint’s “Benevolence Fund.” All are welcome! \nHoly Communion will be celebrated during worship\, and all are invited to participate. Nursery care (infancy-preschool aged) and children’s worship (K-5th grade) will be available starting at 10 am.
